
Love Afia Kyeremah-Darko
Love Afia is a young Ghanaian development professional currently serving as the community Mobilization coordinator for International Justice Mission Ghana, an anti-human trafficking organization. With a background rooted in advocacy, gender equality, training, strategic planning, and systems reforms, love has developed a profound interest in public policy, governance, and socioeconomic development in Africa. Love’s journey in this field began with enthusiastic volunteer work with both national and international organizations, focusing on projects centered around community development and the empowerment of women and youth. As the AU ambassador for the G(irls)20 summit in 2018, love contributed to drafting a communique that was presented to G20 Leaders highlighting the pressing need to enable young women’s active participation in leadership and honored as the inaugural spirit award recipient. Love’s evolving journey now centers on leveraging her diverse skill set and experiences to drive positive change in Ghana. She is unwaveringly committed to making a lasting and transformative impact on the future of the African continent.
